One of our greatest joys is giving back to our community. We're proud to partner with Franklin County Children Services to provide books to children in need each year through our Book Angels program. “Grand merci” translates to “big thanks.” So, you see, gratitude brings the meaning to our name. Yet, it’s so easy to neglect gratitude when the world seems broken. Let’s look to those everyday occurrences where we can find gratitude in our lives and in the world around us. I have an abundance of gratitude to share with you.
Nearly 1,000 people recently stood in line for up to six hours (starting at 5 am) to meet horror writer R.L. Stine in his hometown of Bexley, Ohio. Stine came to Central Ohio, hosted by Gramercy Books, as part of a book tour for his four latest scary books.

The month of May, Jewish Heritage Month, is a deeply personal celebration for me as a first-generation American Jew. The designation, established in 2006 by Congressional resolution and Presidential proclamation, commemorated May as a national month of recognition of the history of Jewish contributions to American culture, acknowledging the diverse achievement of the Jewish community in the U.S.

When we approach Valentine’s Day at Gramercy Books, we tend to get in the romantic mood. For someone like me, an author and bookseller, I am noticing that there are a lot of people drawn to romance novels, and not just in February!
