Now entering our second year, Gramercy Books’ “find it here” mantra couldn’t be more appropriate. While we carry bestsellers and all the recent releases, we also focus on curating inventory that allow customers to discover both emerging authors and unexpected titles. Our shelf talkers, written by a knowledgeable staff—all passionate about books—help customers “find it here.”
Gramercy Books turns one on December 12th! Three years in the planning, Gramercy Books has become a destination for central Ohioans as an exciting, curated independent bookstore, serving customers from Columbus and most of its suburbs. Its first year has included 75 events and a growing base of loyal customers.
In October, Gramercy’s monthly book club has selected My Life with Bob as a catalyst to talk about books that people can’t live without. To a handful of writers, I asked this question: What book has stuck with you over the years—one that may have shaped you or changed your life in some way? Here’s what they told me.
