Sunday, February 25, 2024 - 3:00pm
Bexley Public Library
2411 East Main Street
Bexley, OH 43209

Join New York Times bestselling author and poet Maggie Smith for her debut picture book release party, My Thoughts Have Wings, a lyrical and reassuring picture book perfect for calming active minds at bedtime (or anytime). The event is free and will be held at the Bexley Public Library, who is partnering with Gramercy Books for this program. Maggie will do a reading followed by a short talk about writing this book, she’ll answer questions from the audience, and sign copies of her book. There will be light refreshments and activities/crafts for children.

Registration will be on the Bexley Library website. My Thoughts Have Wings will be available for purchase at the event.

Ohio Poetry Association is the Community Partner for this program.

At bedtime, when lights go out…sometimes thoughts stay on.
Scary things and worries flutter and flap around. It’s so hard to sleep!
But a little imagination (and a lot of love) can create a cozy nest for happy thoughts—and sweet dreams for little ones.

Maggie Smith is the New York Times bestselling author of You Could Make This Place Beautiful, Goldenrod, Keep Moving, Good Bones, and more. My Thoughts Have Wings is her debut picture book. She lives with her children in Columbus, OH.
