His collection takes the reader through a four-year deterioration of a partnership that tested the author’s sensibilities and devotion. Macioci is the author of two chapbooks, as well as five books. His work has been published in more than two hundred magazines here and abroad. Most recently, his work was published in The Society of Classical Poets journal, Clark Street Review, Blue Unicorn, and Chiron Review. Feen will read from Mean and Bone, a journey through a turbulent and intense marriage headed in the wrong direction. The finely crafted poems offer an emotionally impactful and brutally honest personal portrayal through the shifting stages of a romance gone bad. Feen’s book, Fragile Capacities: School Poems (2018), nominated for the Ohioana Book Award, highlights her 32-year teaching career in an urban school system. She is a member of the poetry troupe Concrete Wink, with Rikki Santer and Chuck Salmons, the Ohio Poetry Association, and Bistro Poets; the former associate editor of Pudding Magazine and former director of the Ohio Poetry Therapy Writers’ Group. Feen has a BFA in English Education from Bowling Green State University, as well as an MA in Literature from Wright State.
