Kaveh Akbar is the founding editor of Divedapper. His poems appear in The New Yorker, Poetry, American Poetry Review, Tin House, PBS NewsHour, The Poetry Review, and elsewhere. His debut collection, Calling a Wolf a Wolf, was released September 12 by Alice James Books. He is also the author of the chapbook Portrait of the Alcoholic. The recipient of a Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation, a Pushcart Prize, and a Lucille Medwick Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America, Kaveh was born in Tehran, Iran, and is a Visiting Professor in the Purdue University MFA program.
Darren Demarre is the author of six poetry collections. He is the winner of the Louise Bogan Award from Trio House Press and the Nancy Dew Taylor Award from Emrys Journal, and is the recipient of nine Pushcart Prize nominations. Darren serves as the Managing Editor of the Best of the Net Anthology and Ovenbird Poetry. He lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and children.
Paige Lewis is the author of the forthcoming chapbook Reasons to Wake You (Tupelo Press, 2018). Their poems have appeared or are forthcoming in American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, The Georgia Review, Colorado Review, and elsewhere.
Ruth Awad is an award-winning Lebanese-American poet whose debut poetry collection, Set to Music a Wildfire (forthcoming in 2017), won the 2016 Michael Waters Poetry Prize from Southern Indiana Review Press. She is the recipient of a 2016 Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, and her work has appeared in The New Republic, The Missouri Review Poem of the Week, Sixth Finch, Crab Orchard Review, Southern Indiana Review, Rattle, and several anthologies. She won the 2012 and 2013 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize and the 2011 Copper Nickel Poetry Contest. She is the assistant poetry editor at Atticus Review and the blog editor at Agape Editions. She writes and lives in Columbus, Ohio.
