This encouraging guide—her contribution to our angry and grudge-holding world—will be interactive, with participants able to ask questions of Barbara during the program.

Registration is on Eventbrite where you will receive login information and full instructions closer to the event. A general admission ticket to access the event is $5; in purchasing a copy of Ms. Bonner’s book at $22, you waive the admission fee.

Inspiring Forgiveness consists of twelve true stories of people—from the Dalai Lama to Congressman John Lewis—who have endured great pain at the hands of others and have found a way to open themselves to forgiveness in its many forms. Each story is followed by extraordinary poems that speak to forgiveness as well as a collection of over 100 inspiring quotations.

Barbara Bonner is the author of Inspiring Generosity (2014) and Inspiring Courage (2017). She has spoken widely on the subjects of generosity and leadership and is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post. After starting her professional life as an art historian, she has devoted her career to nonprofit management, fundraising, and philanthropy. A 30-year resident of New York City, Barbara now lives in a converted barn in the Berkshire hills of Western Massachusetts.
